Three Creek Vineyard lies in the Happy Canyon region of the Santa Ynez Valley about 2 1/2 hours drive north of Los Angeles and 4 1/2 hours south of San Francisco. The warm south facing slopes of this rocky terrain are ideally suited to red wines, especially the Rhone and Bordeaux varietals. The vineyard was planted in two stages with the following varietals - syrah, sangiovese and cabernet franc followed by cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot and malbec. In 2007 we will be planting Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot, and further expansion is planned for 2008.

We farm the vineyard using organic methods. This labor intensive and careful farming allows us to produce grapes of the highest quality.

Three Creek Owners

The Owners of Three Creek Vineyard are Priscilla and Roger Higgins. They bought the ranch in 2000 and named it Three Creek after the three ephemeral creeks which run through the property. The vineyard planting was started in 2001, concurrent with obtaining planning permission to construct the residences and structures on the overall 103 acre ranch.

At the time they were completing a 20-year sojourn in Silicon Valley, where they both worked in hi-tech jobs, Priscilla in the communications industry and Roger in start-ups.
